Anita: " Got Milk? I did. I got to be a spokesperson (not to be confused with a "spokesmodel" which infers much dieting and exercise) for the got milk? campaign in January. It began with a press event for the unveiling of their new milk mustache celebrity (which was NOT me, but Rebecca Romijn - whose legs are at least a gazillion inches long - and I'm NOT exaggerating) and then I had an appearance with Sam Champion in Times Square on Good Morning America and then a few appearances and interviews to tell about the Great Gallon Give that helps the Feeding America organization. You can go to facebook.com/milkmustache to find out more about it." ~quote from anitarenfroe.com

Here's a great new article that'll fill in all the background on Anita's career, background and family.
An excerpt:
"...Renfroe is a suburban mom from flyover country - specifically, Cobb County, Ga., home of Newt Gingrich. She is round and soft, loves butter, carbs and sugar and worries routinely about her weight. She is maternal to just about everyone, even people she doesn't know very well. She pinches pennies and worries that her spotless house isn't clean enough. Renfroe is a former stay-at-home mom who for some years home-schooled her kids. Now that those children are past the age of consent, she still cannot stop telling them what to do; she is always just a little bit anxious..."

Oct. 3, 2007 - ABC News: SINGING MOM MAKES A SPLASH
Comedian and mom Anita Renfroe became a YouTube Viral Video star, thanks to her "William Tell Momism" video -- a rendition of "everything a mom would say in 24 hours" set to The William Tell Overture in a breakneck 2 minutes and 55 seconds.
"William Tell Momism" is part of her "Total Momsense" DVD; other cuts include "The Women's Bill of Rights" and "The Botox Song." Her new book, just out, is called "If You Can't Lose It, Decorate It." She describes the book's message: "Although there are things in our life that are probably not going to change, we have the option to change how we view these things."

"Play it 1st thing in the morning, and you don't have to talk all day!"
"Mothers get stuck in this cosmic Ground Hog Day (you know, the movie) where they do the same day over and over and over again. So I thought I'd put it to music and get the whole day out of the way..."
Just as funny in print...
"Filled with insights from a real couple on real issues, Songs in the Key of Solomon will get spouses laughing, thinking, sharing, touching, and praying possibly all during the same reading. Each offering in this devotional is designed to spark connections around issues that matter, so couples deepen their emotional, spiritual, and physical unity and ignite new levels of intimacy. (One devotional even involves a bathtub and some candles!)
"Here is an invitation to discover the music in marriage maybe for the first time... or maybe once again."
The original Church Lady??
Anita in the 80s
Anita began her career as a pastor's wife and a church pianist, as seen in this shot from her early music CD. Her life before comedy? Here's a quote from an interview:
"...I was writing, singing and playing the piano. I lead worship at women's conferences and occasionally said something funny to lighten up the moment in a heavy time. Not a lot of women were really doing "Christian comedy"; it just wasn't on the radar at the time. But the closer I got to 40, the more authentic I felt I needed to be..."
